Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward-Hastings has officially welcomed its new executive director.
A key ceremony was held on Friday to officially appoint Hazzem Koudsi to the position.
Koudsi, who immigrated from Syria at a young age, has spent close to three decades working in the public sector and also played a role in helping the Humane Society of Hastings and Prince Edward move forward with their new facility.
He says he’s looking forward to supporting families in the Quinte Region in finding homes.
Habitat is also adding a handful of new board members including Adam Goheen, Amy Harder, Sheridan Jennings and John-Ross Parks, after a recent overhaul of the organization’s structure.
