All that’s left to do is get the construction crews to work.
This week Centre Hastings council voted to accept the lowest tender for the building of a new modular trail bridge over Moira Lake, south of Madoc.
Alcan Valley Construction Group of the Greater Toronto Area was chosen to build the steel bridge with a bid of just over $750,ooo.
There were seven other bids with the highest one being $1.4 million.
