It was a hot one Wednesday and almost broke a high temperature record in the Quinte region.
However, it fell short by less than one point Celsius.
According to readings taken at CFB Trenton around 4 p.m. Wednesday, the mercury climbed to 30.7 Celsius but 16 years ago, in 2005, the high hit 31.6 Celsius.
While its expected to be another warm day Thursday, temperatures aren’t expected to hit 30 Celius.
