The streak of days without a new COVID-19 case in Hastings-Prince Edward has ended at eight.
HPE Public Health is reporting one new case today, which is the only active case in the region.
The new case was found in Quinte West, in a woman in the 70-and-over age group and is related to travel.
There is still just one person in hospital due to the virus, but that person is in the ICU and on a ventilator.
68.3% of the HPE population has received a first dose of vaccine, with the number of fully vaccinated residents jumping up to 10% today.
There were no new cases reported today in Northumberland County, with nine active cases there.
