Christmas may not be top of mind in early June, but the City of Belleville is already preparing for the 2021 edition of its Festival of Lights.
Even with COVID-19 protocols in place last year, the Festival of Lights Committee was able to set up a five kilometre driving experience through the Downtown District and waterfront areas, to brighten people’s spirits.
This year’s display will celebrate the city’s diversity, with plans to add a number of new displays, but since the display is community-funded, new donors are needed to help with the expansion and refurbishment of older parts of the display.
