The number of active cases of COVID-19 remains at zero in Hastings Prince Edward after HPE Public Health announced another day with no new cases.
The health unit’s Tuesday dashboard also shows one person remains in hospital, however that person is on a ventilator in the ICU.
Sixty percent of HPE residents (100,769 people) have had their first dose of vaccine and eight percent (13,853 people) have received both doses.
The HKPR District Health Unit is reporting one new case in Northumberland County.
Eleven cases remain active.
Ontario reported just 469 new cases of the virus on Tuesday.
That’s the lowest daily total for Ontario since September 26, when 435 new cases were reported
