Highway 401 was closed for over six hours at Cobourg Wednesday night.
According to Today’s Northumberland a tractor trailer carrying boxes of wine veered into a ditch in the westbound lanes and then rolled onto its side blocking the highway.
The transport’s driver suffered minor injuries. The incident occurred shortly before 7 o’clock and the 401 westbound at Cobourg wasn’t reopened to traffic until after midnight.
