A goal aimed at creating hygiene and meal kits for local people and families in need has been reached quickly.
The United Way Hastings-Prince Edward and accounting firm Welch LLP joined together leading to the annual Day of Caring which is today (Thursday).
But already, due to a tremendous response from the community, the goal of 500 hygiene and meal kits was easily surpassed with 1,189 kits already completed with the help of over 20 workplaces and individuals.
