Local COVID-19 numbers continue to trend in a positive direction as there are zero new COVID-19 cases in Hastings Prince Edward for a third straight day.
There were also no new cases in Northumberland on Thursday and active cases in both jurisdictions are down to single digits.
The HPE Public health dashboard shows seven cases remain active in Hastings Prince Edward and there have been four recoveries since Wednesday.
The number of people hospitalized remains unchanged for a third day with five cases admitted, two in the ICU and one on a ventilator.
Fifty-five per cent of HPE residents, 93,138 people who have received a first dose of vaccine while five per cent, or 8,758 people are fully vaccinated.
In Northumberland Thursday, there were nine active cases and two resolved cases since the day before.
