You might notice an interesting new art installation if you’re walking around Mary Ann Sills Park this month.
Mayor Mitch Panciuk was joined by members of CNIB Deafblind Community Services on Wednesday morning to unveil the “yarn bomb” installation which is part of a global initiative to spread awareness of deafblindness and spur conversations about the need for more appropriate services for people who are dealing with this.
Various community landmarks across Canada are being “yarn-bombed” over the course of the month, which is also meant to symbolize people coming together.
