There were no new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday in Hastings Prince Edward and the number of active cases continues to fall.
The HPE Public Health dashboard shows nine cases have recovered since Monday and active cases are down to 16.
The number of people hospitalized has also decreased slightly, down one, to 5.
Two people are in the ICU, also a decrease of one, while one person is on a ventilator.
Fifty-three per cent of the local population have received a first dose of vaccine.
Almost 8,000 people or five per cent of the population is fully vaccinated.
The seven day case rate per 100,000 people is down to 10.7.
There were also no new cases Tuesday in Northumberland County.
According to the HKPR District Health Unit dashboard, 13 cases remain active with six resolved since Monday.
