Public Intoxication
On May 31, 2021 at 3:30 p.m., Belleville police attended the Belleville Bus terminal regarding a male who was observed to be highly intoxicated. Officers determined that the male was a danger to himself due to his level of intoxication. The 30-year-old Belleville resident was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place. The male was held in custody until he could care for himself.
On May 31, 2021 at 10 p.m., Belleville police attended an east end residence regarding a family dispute. Officers arrived on scene and located a male who was heavily intoxicated and was causing issues with members of his family. The male continued to cause issues out on the street in front of the residence and was arrested to prevent further offences. The 29-year-old Belleville resident was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place. The male was held until sober.
