An alert neighbour kept a small fire small early Tuesdsay in west end Belleville.
A resident of Meagher Place, just off Avondale Road, noticed flames on a neighbour’s rear patio and called the fire department at 1:30 a.m.
Firefighters had the fire out in minutes and damage was minimal.
