Computer stolen
On May 30, 2021 at 2:08 p.m., police were called to a reported theft of a computer from a residence on Wellington Crescent. Police report that sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., unknown person(s) entered the dwelling of the occupier while she was away. The 72-year-old victim of this theft reported that her silver-coloured Acer laptop was removed from the inside of her home. An investigation into the matter is continuing, and police are asking anyone who may have information to contact investigating officer Cst. Collision results in charge
On May 30, 2021 at 6:31 p.m., police were called to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Bridge Street West and Sidney Street. Two automobiles were involved. No estimate of damage was given, and there were no reported injuries. Police charged a 77-year-old city man with the offence of Turn – not in safety.
