There were three new cases of COVID-19 reported Monday in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties.
27 cases are active and the HPE Public Health dashboard shows one recovery since Sunday’s report.
There is one case each in Belleville, Quinte West and Prince Edward County.
One case was caused by close contact, another is close contact – outbreak related and the cause of the other is pending.
The number of people hospitalized has not changed – six are in hospital, three in the ICU and one in intensive care.
87,277 people or 52 per cent of the Hastings Prince Edward population has received one dose of vaccine while 7,750 or five per cent of people are fully vaccinated.
The HKPR District Health Unit reported five new and 19 active cases on Monday.
