Belleville Police responded to 76 calls for service in the last 24 hours, including a family disturbance in the east end.
Not much information on that call was released, but officers responded around 9:53 p.m. and were able to “diffuse the tense situation.”
Police say one of the people involved agreed to leave the home and come back today, in order to allow everyone to cool down.
No arrests were made and nobody was injured.
