An alert resident’s call to police led to the interruption of a crime in progress early Tuesday.
Someone in the Parkdale area of the city called police after hearing an alarm going off in the neighbourhood.
Police responded and found a 25-year-old man inside a residence around 6:15 in the morning.
Ibrahim Muhia of Belleville was charged with being unlawfully inside a residence.
Meanwhile at 5:30 Tuesday afternoon, police arrested an unidentified 25-year-old man after homeowners confronted a man in their home on Moira Street West.
