Due to one time COVID-19 pandemic financial support from the provincial government, Quinte Health Care ended its fiscal year at the end of March with a $130,000 surplus.
Pandemic funding from the province totalled over $23 million.
Quinte Health Care’s Board of Directors also passed a balanced operating plan for 2021/22 on Tuesday, based on the assumption that the province would continue supporting hospital operations as the pandemic continues.
