The unofficial start of summer is here, Victoria Day aka May 2-4. Whatever you want to call it, it means a day off.
The COVID lockdown has shut quite a bit already, however here are some changes.
Government offices are closed, that includes municipal, provincial, and federal.
There will be no mail delivery.
Students have no classes Monday.
Belleville Transit will not operate.
Quinte Waste Solutions will be on regular schedule.
LCBOs and Beer Stores will be closed for the day, with the only exception being the Bell Boulevard Beer Store, which is open 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Most retail shops are closed, however there will be some pharmacies and restaurants open, or on an alternate schedule.
