Hastings Prince Edward Public Health is reporting five new cases of COVID-19 Sunday as well as five recoveries which means the active total is still 43.
There is one new case in North Hastings and two each in Prince Edward County and Quinte West.
The HPE COVID-19 dashboard shows 11 people are in hospital with the virus with six in the ICU and six on ventilators.
There were only two new Variant of Concern cases identified which leaves the total at 462 since the pandemic began with 26 of them active.
To date, 83,664 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered with 6,713 people, or 4% of the population, fully vaccinated.
The dashboard also indicates that 53% of the population of the HPE public health unit region 18-years-old and over have received a first dose.
