It is a milestone day for a member of the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte.
Austin Fuller turns 100 Thursday.
He is the last surviving World War 2 member from the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.
Earlier this year, Fuller was awarded the Victory Pin by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Veterans Affairs Minister Lawrence MacAulay.
He was born May 20, 1921, and at the age of 18 enlisted in the Canadian Army.
Fuller was a member of the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment, serving in Italy and into Holland.
Fuller was in the army for five years.
