A Belleville man faces charges after a break and enter attempt at a construction site on Coleman Street early Tuesday.
Police report seeing a man trying to enter a locked trailer after cutting a hole in a perimeter fence around 6:30 in the morning. Police say the man had break and enter tools in his possession.
Robert Palin, 40 years of age, was charged with break and enter, and possession of stolen property.
He was released with a court date July 22.
