Recoveries outpaced new cases of COVID-19, the number of active cases dropped below 60 and another outbreak ended in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties on Tuesday.
HPE Public Health reported five new cases and 11 recoveries.
Active cases are down to 55.
Of the new cases, there were two each in Quinte West and Central Hastings and one in Belleville.
Three cases are due to close contact, one is close contact – outbreak-related while the cause of the other case is pending.
The number of active outbreaks is down to five as the one in the ICU at Quinte Health Care has been declared over.
That outbreak began on May 4 and affected three people.
Hospitalizations are unchanged. The HPE Public Health dashboard shows 14 people in hospital, six in ICU and five on ventilators.
A total of 74,800 doses of vaccine have been administered.
6,026 people, or 4% of the population, are fully vaccinated.
Forty-one per cent of residents across Hastings and Prince Edward have received one dose of vaccine.
There was just one new case reported in Northumberland County today.
Two cases have been resolved leaving 32 active cases.
