Belleville Police are reporting another catalytic converter theft.
Police say they were called for the theft late Friday night which they say occurred between May 7 and May 11 from a location on College Street East.
Police are reminding people that copper and other metals are a hot commodity for thieves and that catalytic converters are highly valuable due to the metals they contain.
According to police, the converters can be quickly removed and are easily stolen, even in broad daylight.
The OPP have also been warning people of catalytic converter thefts as there has been a high number in recent weeks.
Police ask that anyone with information on theft on College Street East, or any other converter thefts, call (613) 966-0882 extension 4146 or to call CrimeStoppers at (613) 969-8477 to remain anonymous.
