The number of active cases of COVID-19 in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties is down to 68.
The HPE Public Health dashboard reported five new cases Friday and 15 recoveries since Thursday.
Two new cases are in Quinte West with one each in Prince Edward County, Central Hastings and North Hastings.
Local spread is responsible for two cases, with two more attributed to close contact and the cause of the other case is pending.
Seventeen people remain in hospital with seven in the ICU and five on ventilators.
There are still six ongoing outbreaks in the region.
69,983 doses of vaccine have been administered and 4,937 people are fully vaccinated.
In Northumberland Friday, the HKPR District Health Unit is reporting three new and 32 active cases.
There have been four resolved cases since Thursday.
