A Belleville man suffered stab wounds to his hand after an incident in the Tracey Park Drive area early Friday.
Belleville police and Hastings-Quinte paramedics responded at 3:45 a.m. and the 32-year-old man was taken to Belleville General Hospital for treatment.
Police quickly located a 31-year-old Belleville man and charged him with assault causing bodily harm and assault with a weapon.
He appears for a bail hearing Friday.
