The politicians well known for their anti-lockdown rallies have stepped up their efforts to change both the provincial and federal government’s approaches to dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thursday morning Hastings-Lennox and Addington MP Derek Sloan and Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston MPP Randy Hillier issued a joint press release calling on their respective governments to convene Royal Commissions of Inquiry into decisions on vaccines, lockdowns, and other restrictions.
Both maintain the government has been misleading people and making poor decisions in the pandemic due to using faulty data and ignoring other data.
Hillier and Sloan both face tickets and charges in relation to several anti-lockdown rallies held recently in several communities, including Belleville.
Both sit as Independents after being removed from their respective parties.
