Belleville’s Downtown District BIA has a new Executive Director.
Luisa Sorrentino is replacing Marijo Cuerrier who has accepted a position with the Kingston BIA.
Sorrentino has over five years of experience in tourism, economic development and place branding with organizations including the Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board and, most recently, Hastings County.
The Belleville resident says she looks forward to strengthening connections between people and the downtown.
BIA Chair Kathryn Brown says Sorrentino’s enthusiasm for Belleville’s downtown and her experience within the tourism industry, make her a great asset for the BIA as they strive to become a prime tourism destination.
Sorrentino, begins her new role on May 25.
