Recoveries just barely outpaced new cases of COVID-19 today in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties.
The HPE Public Health dashboard shows 10 new cases today along with 11 recoveries.
There are 80 active cases.
Five of the new cases are in Belleville, three are in Quinte West and there was one each in Central Hastings and the Deseronto area.
Four cases are outbreak-related, two others are due to close contact and the causes of the other four are pending.
There are 18 people in hospital.
Nine are in the ICU and six are on ventilators.
The health unit has declared a new outbreak at a workplace in Central Hastings where there have been three cases.
Two outbreaks at BGH remain in effect.
Twenty-five cases have been linked to the Quinte 5 outbreak and three to the one in the ICU.
62,935 people have received one dose of vaccine and 4,673 people are fully vaccinated.
In Northumberland today there are just two new cases.
The HKPR dashboard shows 35 active cases.
Three cases have been resolved since Monday.
