Cannifton Road has re-opened following a serious incident early Friday morning
At 1:30 am, emergency crews responded to Cannifton Road North, to a man with a serious injury.
Sources indicated a stabbing had taken place.
One person was injured and was taken to Belleville General Hospital, then on to Kingston for further treatment.
Belleville Police say a man was barricaded inside a residence
For much of the morning, Cannifton Road between McColl Street and Latchford Street was closed.
It was re-opened around 9:00 a.m., and the investigation continues.
