Loyalist College is once again foregoing an in-person convocation ceremony due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the fact that the college is being used as a vaccination centre.
In a statement to students on Friday, Loyalist President Dr. Ann Marie Vaughan says the college is “deeply disappointed” to not be able to offer in-person graduation ceremonies for students, but will be hosting 16 virtual convocation ceremonies instead.
More details on those ceremonies will be shared with students in the coming weeks.
She goes on to congratulate graduating students and thank them for everything they’ve done to make the year successful.
