The continued uncertainty around the pandemic has forced organizers of the Belleville Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony to hit “pause”.
The hall of fame announced Thursday that it has decided to cancel the 2021 induction ceremony, which was planned for August 28.
The hall’s committee says it will reassess the situation in July, with hopes of holding a ceremony by the end of the year.
While a class of 2021 hasn’t been announced, nominations are still being accepted.
