Emergency crews are on the scene of a serious incident in Trenton, where a child was hit by a car.
It happened just before 5:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon near Dufferin Avenue and King Street, with the Quinte West Fire Department and OPP on scene.
Fire Chief John Whelan says the child was taken to Trenton Memorial Hospital with serious injuries, but no other details have been released.
Drivers should avoid the Dufferin and King area until further notice.
