STOLEN VEHICLE LOCATED AND ARREST MADE
(The following is a media release from Central Hastings OPP)
(MARMORA & LAKE, ON) – At approximately 9:00 a.m. on April 29, 2021, officers from the Central Hastings Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were patrolling the Municipality of Marmora & Lake when they observed a motor vehicle reported stolen by Belleville Police Service on April 21, 2021.
As a result of the investigation, Tyson GORDON, 31 years old of Marmora and Lak e, was arrested and charged contrary to the Criminal Code (CC) and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000
- Fail to Comply with Release Order
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance – Cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance – Methamphetamine
The accused was held for a bail hearing and remanded into custody. His next appearance is to take place at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on May 4, 2021.
