Nine new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties Monday but the number of active cases is down to 76.
The HPE Public Health dashboard shows another 10 recoveries since Sunday’s report.
Seven of the new cases are in Belleville while Central Hastings and North Hastings each have one new case.
Travel is responsible for two cases, two more are related to close contact and another two were caused by local spread.
The causes of the other three cases are pending.
The seven day case rate per 100,000 people is 38.
The health unit says 4,028 people are now fully vaccinated with 63,206 doses of vaccine administered so far.
Seventeen people with the virus are at QHC with eight in intensive care and four on a ventilator.
The HKPR District Health Unit, which does not report on Sundays, says there are a dozen new cases today in Northumberland.
The number of active cases is 46.
There have been 21 cases resolved since their last report on Saturday.
