A 57-year-old Belleville man has been arrested in connection with a recent break-in in the city.

Pair of traffic-related charges laid
Belleville police officers have laid a pair of traffic-related charges over the last 24 hours.
The first was around 8:25 Thursday night, when an officer on patrol noticed a vehicle that had licence plates that didn’t match, so they made a traffic stop..
The 31-year-old man driving the car ended up being charged with having unauthorized plates and no insurance.
Then, around 2:00 Friday morning, an officer saw a vehicle make a suspicious U-turn away from them.
The officer ran the licence plates through the system, finding that the owner had a suspended licence and pulled the car over, charging the driver with that offence.
