Seventeen new cases of COVID-19 were reported Thursday in Hastings and Prince Edward.
There are now 171 active cases.
Thirteen cases have been resolved since Wednesday.
Six of the new cases are related to close contact, two to travel and one to local spread with the causes of the other eight cases pending.
The HPE Public Health dashboard also indicates the number of cases related to variants is up to 92, an increase of 14 from yesterday.
The number of outbreaks remains unchanged at six while the number of hospitalized cases is down to two with no one in the ICU.
The seven-day case rate per 100,000 people is 80.7.
More than 1,300 people received a COVID-19 vaccination yesterday and the number of vaccine doses administered so far is up to 37,987.
The number of people fully vaccinated rose slightly to 3,198.
In Northumberland County on Thursday, 22 new cases were reported.
There are 78 active cases with seven recoveries since Wednesday.
Variants are responsible for a total of 76 cases of the virus.
