Prince Edward County OPP have laid charges after a disturbance early last week (Monday) on Big Island.
Officers responded to a residence on the evening of March 29 after reports of a fight.
As a result of investigation 60-year-old Scott Rushlow of Prince Edward County was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon.
OPP say a knife was involved in the altercation.
Rushlow appears in court May 5.
