Hospice Quinte is thrilled to kick off its latest fundraising initiative today – Heart & Home 50/50 – an online 50/50 raffle featuring monthly cash jackpots.
When you play Heart & Home 50/50 you are supporting members of our community who are at their most vulnerable. Every ticket purchased helps Hospice Quinte continue to provide compassionate care to the terminally ill, their families, caregivers and the bereaved when they need it most and at no cost. Proceeds raised through Heart & Home 50/50 will directly support the good works of Hospice Quinte, including the future Hospice Quinte Care Centre.
“The increasing need for hospice-related services in our region, coupled by the highly anticipated opening of the Hospice Quinte Care Centre this fall, has prompted our organization to grow and strengthen its fund development approach in order to nourish Hospice Quinte’s existing and future financial requirements,” says Hospice Quinte Executive Director, Jennifer May-Anderson. “The pandemic has created significant fundraising challenges for many charity organizations, including Hospice Quinte, so launching this new pandemic-friendly Heart & Home 50/50 online raffle is both exciting and very important to us.”
Tickets for Hospice Quinte’s monthly Heart & Home 50/50 online raffle are priced at one for $10, 40 for $20, and 200 for $40. Tickets for the April cash jackpot can be purchased online only, starting today, at heartandhome5050.ca, and will be on sale until 11:59 a.m. on April 30. The first monthly draw will take place on April 30 at 12:00 p.m. at Hospice Quinte’s main office, located in the Bayview Mall..
Winning tickets will be drawn monthly by random electronic selection. Winners will be contacted by Hospice Quinte. The name of monthly winners and winning ticket numbers will also be posted on Hospice Quinte’s website and social media.
