Brighton council has changed some of the focus of its Strategic Plan. Mayor Brian Ostrander says council intends to establish a trails committee and a recreational task force to expand healthy lifestyles options in the community.
Council also intends to formally create a Community Improvement Plan which would allow the Municipality of Brighton to offer grants or loans to businesses and others to meet perceived needs such as affordable housing and downtown revitalization.
