A Belleville boy is raising money, and cutting hair, in an effort to remember his grandfather and support those living with cancer.
Dawson Mumby is 10 years old, and lost his grandfather Grant Mumby to Esophageal Cancer last June (2020).
In 2019, Grant was diagnosed and eventually lost his hair, when Dawson began growing his, to donate to Angel Hair for Kids for human wigs.
Mumby says his grandfather worked for QHC for more than 40 years and is also raising money for the oncology department at QHC.
More than $8,000 has been raised, and on April 1 Dawson will be cutting his locks for donation
