HPE Public Health is reporting one new case of COVID-19 today.
The case was found in a man in his 30s in Quinte West, with the transmission cause pending.
There have been no recoveries since yesterday, so the active case number in the area is up to 9, with a seven day case rate per 100,000 people of 4.2.
The health unit is reporting seven total cases that have been confirmed as a variant of concern.
In Northumberland County today, the HKPR Health Unit is reporting one new case as well with four recoveries, for an active total of 15.
