The current streak of days without a new case of COVID-19 in Hastings Prince Edward has ended at three.
The HPE Public Health Dashboard is reporting one new case today, found in Belleville in a man in his 20s, which has been linked to travel.
There has also been one recovery since yesterday’s report, so the number of active cases remains unchanged, at eight.
An outbreak at a Belleville business, which had been connected to five cases in the area, has also been declared over.
The seven day case rate per 100,000 people in HPE is steady at 5.9 and up to Wednesday, 13,821 vaccine doses have been given, with 1,345 people considered to be fully vaccinated.
Meanwhile in Northumberland County, the HKPR Health Unit says there is one new case today with no new recoveries, leaving the number of active cases there at 18.
