Durham Regional Police say they’ve executed search warrants at two locations in Belleville as part of a wider investigation that also saw searches at multiple locations in the Durham Region over the past couple of days.
Details on the busts weren’t made available, but a caller to Quinte News says they saw a heavy police presence in the area of Highway 37 and Harmony Road early this morning.
A DRPS spokesperson tells Quinte News they’ll provide a further media release with more information, as their investigation continues.
He added that a press conference could be held next week, to update the case, in conjunction with the RCMP.
