A 40-year-old Belleville man lost his driver’s licence and his vehicle for seven days after driving dangerously in the city Thursday evening.
Belleville police spotted a vehicle driving very fast and weaving in and out of traffic on North Front Street at around 7:30.
The vehicle was clocked at 110 kmh in a 50 kmh zone.
Police stopped the vehicle and received no explanation from the driver as to why he was driving at such a speed. He was charged with stunt driving.
He appears in court April 12.
