Alex Formenton broke a scoreless tie at 4:41 of the second period with his third of the year and second in as many games while rookie Egor Sokolov added insurance 58 seconds later. Filip Gustavsson stopped 18 shots for his second AHL shutout. Gustavsson says it was a solid all around team effort.
Gustavsson was making his fourth straight start in goal. He says the extra work has been beneficial for his development.
B-Sens head coach Troy Mann agreed.
