Two new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Hastings Prince Edward Tuesday but the number of active cases continues to fall.
The HPE Public Health dashboard indicates 14 active cases.
There were 21 active cases in the jurisdiction last Thursday.
There have been three recoveries since Monday.
The causes of both of Tuesday’s new cases are pending.
8,522 vaccines have now been administered.
Currently the vaccine is still only available to staff and essential caregivers of long term care facilities and Highest and Very High Priority Health Care Workers
Northumberland is reported three new cases of the virus Tuesday.
There are 17 active cases there with one person recovered since Monday’s report.
