The following is a press release from the Belleville Police Service:
SUDDEN DEATH
On the 7th of March 2021, at approximately 11:15 pm Belleville Police, Belleville Fire and Hastings-Prince Edward EMS attended a Cannifton Road Belleville, Ontario address for a male in medical distress. The male a 24 year old Belleville, Ontario resident was transported to Belleville General Hospital where a short time later he was pronounced deceased.
The name of the deceased is not being released until Next of Kin notifications have been completed.
Members of the Belleville Police Service Criminal Investigations Division and Forensic Identification Unit are continuing this investigation in partnership with the Coroner’s Office. An autopsy is scheduled for March 9, 2021.
