Belleville’s building department issued more permits last month, compared to February of 2020, but the construction value of those permits came in a bit lower.
Forty-two permits were issued last month with a construction value of about $4.4 million.
In February 2020, staff issued 33 building permits, but the construction value was closer to $5.2 million.
Of the permits issued in February, 10 were for new residential builds.
Belleville has issued 88 building permits so far this year with a total construction value of just over $11.1 million.
