The month of February was a little quieter than February of last year when it comes to proposed building activity in Prince Edward County.
The county’s building department reports issuing 39 permits for construction valued at almost $2.5 million.
Most of that total came from two permits for new houses totalling $614,000.
In February of 2020, 39 permits were issued valed at close to $3.6 million.
However, the construction value for the first two of months of this year, around $9 million, matches the total for same period last year.
